Review

Unlike the Sydney and Melbourne casts, which were both part of the original production, the Adelaide production, was not, and was unsuccessful. Dysart, Brockenshire and Greentree reprised their roles from the Melbourne production, Frank N. Furter was cast to be played by Darrell Hilton, but he was replaced a few days before opening by Max Phipps and then, several weeks later, due to commitments in film, Max was replaced by Jon Finlayson. Direction was by Roland Roccheccioli, and not Jim Sharman. The show closed after 2 months.
